Stitch up simple rows of dash dot dot to create an interlocking Plus Sign patchwork with ease. Sew all 3 strips together end to end so that you have one giant strip that is approximately 6x180. I ummed-and-aahhed between calling this block the Plus-Sign or Modern Crosses block as it can be referred to as both these names.

The block is designed around a 3 x 3 or nine patch grid but can be easily simplified by combining one row of squares into a rectangle a huge time saver.
